Taking place at the Old RC Cola Plant the first day of the festival on December 7th from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM! Women Refining The Art of the Streets
Few and Far is an assemblage of women who beautify the streets. In a shared commitment to creativity, education and social justice we draw, paint, skateboard and teach all over the globe. Street art is an international, visual language that ever evolves. A mural is a story and each artist takes her turn in the telling. Using their gifts as totem makers, Few and Far’s reflections of the world is fantastic and distinctly feminine. By engaging our community in our narrative, we seek to foster young imagination, to help the neighbourhood’s next generation recognize and channel their creative impulses. This conversation between artists and communities is an ongoing, global project to heal and bring together all peoples. Klughaus to paint semi-trailer trucks that will drive the East Coast!
Klughaus is partnering with ATLFreight.com to kick off an artist series of custom painted 53′ semi-trailer trucks that will eventually travel throughout the East Coast. The inaugural truck for this project is going to be painted live at Basel House this year (2018) featuring GLOSSBLACK (PHI) and MAST (NYC.) The scale of these trucks mimic subways and freight trains to serve as the perfect large scale moving canvas coming to an interstate near you! EFFEN VODKA presents the #DifferentByDesign ART GALLERY AT BASEL HOUSE 2018
This year Basel House Mural Festival highlights local talent and the essence of Wynwood bringing to life the EFFEN Vodka #DifferentByDesign Gallery. Throughout the year, Wynwood witnessed every second Saturday of the month some of the coolest live paintings at Wynwood Art Walk. As if that wasn’t enough, artists used their extra creativity to paint their unique designs on the EFFEN Vodka bottles!
